About the Project
This aquaculture project is being implemented by SDS, Guwahati with the support of Fisheries department, Govt. of Odisha in 7 blocks of Keonjhar of Odisha (Banspal, Champua, Harichandanpur, Hatadihi, Jhumpura, Joda and Sadar blocks) since 2023. TKWFFP Co. Ltd. has been formed in the said district & has been able to achieve a wonderful feat of increasing the fish production from existing and new inland water bodies in the last financial year. There is a wonderful team working at TKWFFP Co. Ltd. in the district which has been able to achieve the feat.
Job Description
- Managing and mentoring FFPO team
- Coordination between various stakeholders (District Fisheries Dept, DMF, FPC)
- Managing TKWFFPCL office administrative activities
- Development of Annual action plan and Business development plan
- Monitoring of business activities as per annual action plan
- Pro-actively working with various vendors and stakeholders to support District teams in organizing review meetings, training workshops and consultations
- Maintaining MIS of the project and preparing physical progress and impact reports, best practices or success stories of the project
- Providing Training & Capacity building support
- Arrange follow up of the trainings conducted
- Timely submission of reports
- Convergence with various state & central schemes
Qualification: Post Graduate in Management/Fisheries/Agriculture/Sociology (Management graduate with prior experience of working in FPOs shall be preferred)
Work Ex: 5 years min. Candidates working/has worked as CEO in FPOs shall be given priority.
